I've been seeing a lot of Tallow Balms lately and got curious about tallow in skin care. It turns out that it has some amazing skin care benefits. Not only is it a powerful emollient, it is thought to be able to soothe dry, itchy skin conditions as well as encourage cell regeneration which assists in healing. This got me thinking about creating a product that would be perfect for those with dry, itchy, damaged skin.
However, I wanted a product that could be sold and used all year round so opted to make a thick luscious cream. This allowed me to include other skin loving ingredients like honey and chamomile extract, neither of which work well in oil based products.
