This formula was inspired by a Design Challenge on Patreon, where I was asked to incorporate Tomato Extract into a skincare product. With its wealth of skin-loving benefits, Tomato Extract immediately stood out as a powerful addition to a facial formula.
It is rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and lycopene, which work together to help reduce the visible signs of aging, minimize the appearance of pores, and soothe redness. These properties made it an ideal ingredient for a lightweight yet effective serum, designed to support a healthier, more radiant complexion.
Since launching, this Facial Gel Serum has quickly become one of my best-selling products, loved for its refreshing feel and skin-enhancing benefits. The formula is built on a hydrating base of water and glycerin, with Xanthan gum providing a silky, gel-like texture that absorbs beautifully into the skin without feeling heavy. To further enhance its effectiveness, I incorporated Jojoba and Niacinamide which helps to keep the skin glowing.
The result is a hydrating, soothing, and skin-rejuvenating serum that works well for a variety of skin types.
As with many of the formulas I release, this one can be readily adjusted by substituting some of the ingredients, including the Tomato Extract. I have provided alternatives in the “About Ingredients” section.
